Consumers have spent $18.4 billion on Apps in the first quarter of 2018

According to a new report from App Annie today, global app downloads and consumer spending in apps has hit another record quarter. In the first quarter of 2018, iOS and Google Play downloads grew more than 10 percent year-over-year to reach 27.5 billion – the highest figure to date. In addition, consumer spending on iOS and Google Play grew 22 percent year-over-year to reach $18.4 billion – also a record number.
