A few weeks ago, the Tanzanian government approved the Electronic and Postal Communications (Online Content) law. This law simply meant bloggers and online media portals in Zimbabwe had to register and pay annual fees to keep running their websites. Another African country seems to be on the same train with Zimbabwe. The Ugandan government has declared a tax on Social Media, which is expected to begin in July 2018.

Yemi Osinbajo, vice president of Nigeria, arrived Lagos on Tuesday to visit tech companies around the state.
